HELP HADASSAH MAKE
THE DIFFERENCE
EMERGENCY NEED
The Hadassah Hospital in Ein Kerem has been at the forefront of patient care, research and innovative drug trials to find effective treatment for COVID-19 since the outbreak in Israel
While, thankfully, the overall number of COVID-19 patients continues to decrease gradually, today it is becoming clear that we must maintain the highest quality of medicine to support and cope with both current and new patients over time. Returning to normalcy– to the degree possible – our doctors, nurses and staff continue to be on the frontlines of treatment of coronavirus patients, for the benefit of all residents of Jerusalem and its surrounding areas.
The Hadassah Hospital has treated, over the past month, more than 969 COVID-19 patients. 40 patients required ICU care and 30 were ventilated
The second wave of COVID-19 patients is not yet over, which means that we need to make sure that we have the necessary equipment with sufficient patient beds for ventilated ICU patients.
Based on our experience in Jerusalem – which includes several densely populated neighborhoods – we have reason to believe that we will once again treat COVID-19 patients in serious condition at a higher prevalence relative to other areas in Israel.
We are pleased to announce that a generous California-based family foundation will match every dollar given up to $3.75M!
Your gift is twice as important!
Priority is to prepare for the expected second wave of COVID-19 patients, to make sure that we have the necessary equipment with sufficient patient beds for ventilated ICU patients
